3rd Line IT Support Technician
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an IT Support Technician to work as part of a team to deliver IT Support issues to our staff/contractors under the guidelines of ITIL. You will be the first point of contact to for our clients customers both remotely and on-site for business IT support; ensuring customers are provided with quality support and participate in assigned project deliverables as required.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Implement suitable fixes and work-around solutions to analyse problems, monitoring progress and keeping customers informed
- Update Service Desk help-tickets and knowledgebase with analysis findings and results
- Visit customer sites as and when required to facilitate problem resolution
- Maintain client confidence and protect our clients operations by keeping information confidential
Essential:
- Experience of Desktop support (Microsoft OS & Applications)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and 365
- Effective analytical and problem determination skills
- Ability to work as part of a large team on technical projects
Desirable:
- Experience of Office 365 use, eg Outlook, Word, Teams etc
- Basic PC based hardware engineering
- Microsoft Certifications (MCSE, MCP)
- Awareness of security (e.g Firewall) technologies
- ITIL
- Driver’s licence and a willingness to travel to sites
