3rd Line IT Support Technician
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an IT Support Technician to work as part of a team to deliver IT Support issues to our staff/contractors under the guidelines of ITIL. You will be the first point of contact to for our clients customers both remotely and on-site for business IT support; ensuring customers are provided with quality support and participate in assigned project deliverables as required.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Implement suitable fixes and work-around solutions to analyse problems, monitoring progress and keeping customers informed
  • Update Service Desk help-tickets and knowledgebase with analysis findings and results
  • Visit customer sites as and when required to facilitate problem resolution
  • Maintain client confidence and protect our clients operations by keeping information confidential

Essential:

  • Experience of Desktop support (Microsoft OS & Applications)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and 365
  • Effective analytical and problem determination skills
  • Ability to work as part of a large team on technical projects

Desirable:

  • Experience of Office 365 use, eg Outlook, Word, Teams etc
  • Basic PC based hardware engineering
  • Microsoft Certifications (MCSE, MCP)
  • Awareness of security (e.g Firewall) technologies
  • ITIL
  • Driver’s licence and a willingness to travel to sites
