Overview:
Unify have partnered with a top Aerospace & Defence company based in Lancashire who are looking for an experienced IT Manager to build a state-of-the-art IT infrastructure in collaboration with the CEO, Head of Operations and leadership team. Aiming to be the most data-driven, agile, lean and fast-paced airframe components partner one can think of, building the factory of the future.
Responsibilities:
- Provide key insight and implement a new MRP/ERP system and support the wider System Architecture. Enabling scalability and growth.
- Provide end user training and support and ensure prompt resolution to issues.
- Align our IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals.
- Manage the IT estate and ensure system cost-effectiveness.
- Evaluate risk, develop, and test network recovery and backup processes.
- Support the company's administrative functions.
- Ensure that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes and regulations.
- Test, troubleshoot and adjust information systems to operate effectively.
- Implement security protocols on the network, data storage and communication systems.
- Maintain exemplary documentation, training materials, asset registers and data standards.
- Mentor team members to follow IT standards and guidelines.
- Implement and maintain NIST framework solution.
- Update and maintain the company online premise for documentation, aligning with the SMT.
- Lead the company Cyber Security strategy, implement, and maintain.
- Manage the daily operations of our network, security, and cloud infrastructure.
What do I need?
- 3+ years' experience in IT support and management with an educational history that reflects your level of skills and knowledge.
- Experience of MRP/ERP, MES implementations or operations.
- Experience in managing Microsoft environments including 365.
- Microsoft 365 administration certifications.
- Security, Compliance, Endpoint Manager and Identity knowledge.
- Knowledge of relevant IT standards and practices.
- Experience of Cyber Essentials, NIST or ISO27001.
- Knowledge of hardware and software infrastructure systems (servers, firewalls, switches)
- The ability to carry out installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- The ability to proactively identify, prioritise and solve problems logically and autonomously. (e.g., troubleshooting, root cause analysis, remediations)
- NIST framework experience.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
