In this role, you are the bridge between technical innovation and project execution. You will manage the full engineering lifecycle from the initial bid phase right through to long-term support. You won't just be monitoring progress, you will be the driving force behind the planning, task allocation, and performance of our engineering teams.
Your core focus will involve:
- Technical Project Ownership: Managing project engineering schedules at the EPIC level and ensuring all outputs align with our rigorous engineering processes.
- Agile Strategy: Creating detailed backlogs from work package breakdowns and recommending priorities to the Programme Manager to ensure seamless delivery.
- Risk and Change Management: Leading technical risk reviews, managing engineering changes, and maintaining configuration control in collaboration with lead systems engineers.
- Collaborative Reporting: Tracking progress and highlighting risks or opportunities to ensure project delivery milestones are met on time and within budget.

What you bring to the team:
- A degree in Engineering or Project Management, complemented by a professional qualification such as APM, PRINCE2, or PMI.
- Extensive experience in programme and project management within an engineering environment, specifically involving software development and system design.
- A deep understanding of agile methodologies and the ability to justify technical approaches to stakeholders.
- The ability to obtain UK Security Clearance.
