Project Manager – Client Side

THIS IS NOT AN IT ROLE!

Looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading client on the South Coast.

This role is ideal for someone with a minimum of 5-10 years experience, primarily from a client-side background (not main contractor).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage residential projects (houses and flats), covering circa 70- 80% of the role. The remainder will be commercial projects including offices, retail, PBSA, hospitability etc
  • Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Act as Employer’s Agent under JCT Design & Build contracts.
  • Administer various JCT contracts (both traditional and D&B).
  • Handle contract administration effectively, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

 

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in project management.
  • Strong background in residential projects (70-80% of role).
  • Proven experience delivering projects valued between £1m – £30m.
  • Solid knowledge of JCT contracts and experience as an Employer’s Agent.
  • Ideally MCIOB or MRICS qualified (not essential).
  • Excellent contract administration skills.
