About the Role
An established engineering organisation is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to support the design, development and delivery of high-performance RF and mmWave products. This role combines advanced RF/microwave engineering with hands-on design and test, working closely with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver robust solutions from concept through production.

The Senior RF Engineer will play a key role in delivering high-quality RF designs, supporting technology development, maintaining engineering standards and contributing to future product direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, simulation and development of RF and mmWave circuits, components and subsystems.

• Perform RF system analysis, performance optimisation and troubleshooting of complex designs.

• Carry out RF measurements, characterisation and validation of prototypes and production hardware.

• Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation including design reports, test plans and results.

• Ensure designs meet required specifications, standards and customer requirements.

• Contribute innovative RF solutions to technology and product roadmaps.

• Provide technical input into RFQs, proposals and customer engagements when required.

• Work with project managers and engineering leads to deliver designs on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.

• Support transition of designs from concept and prototyping into volume manufacture.

• Collaborate with process engineering and operations to ensure manufacturability and yield.

• Assist with risk identification and mitigation throughout the development lifecycle.

• Work closely with electronics, mechanical, software and systems teams to deliver integrated solutions.

• Present technical work and project updates to internal stakeholders and customers as required.

Essential Experience

• Degree-qualified in RF, microwave, electronic engineering or similar discipline.

• Strong experience in RF and mmWave design, simulation and validation.

• Hands-on capability with RF measurement and characterisation equipment.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimise complex RF systems.

• Strong documentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable Experience

• Experience supporting products through to volume manufacturing.

• Exposure to contributing to technology roadmaps or product strategy.

• Customer-facing technical experience.
