The Opportunity Join a leading HVAC solutions provider that prioritizes job security, cross-training, and long-term career growth. We are looking for a BAS Controls Technician to lead the installation, programming, and commissioning of DDC building automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming & Integration: Create/modify control algorithms, download source code, and develop animated front-end GUIs.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex DDC malfunctions and perform system-wide repairs, calibrations, and optimizations.
- Project Management: Track labor/materials, manage subcontractors, and coordinate schedules with mechanical contractors and clients.
- Support & Training: Provide technical direction to end-users and conduct customer training for project closeout.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years with Lonworks/BACnet systems.
- Tech Stack: Tridium/Niagara 4 preferred; familiarity with Siemens Talon or Distech is a plus.
- Education: Trade School, Associate degree (Electronics/HVAC/Mechanical), or honorable US Military service.
- Skills: Proficient in wiring diagrams, IP networks, and standard hand/power tools.
- Must-Haves: Valid driver’s license (clean record) and the flexibility for occasional travel/overtime.
